Passing by

Alone in the darkness.
Car lights flashing by 
like shooting stars.
I keep on holding,
to the memories of us. 

Empty seats around me
keep reminding me- 
couldn't hold on to you.
Now you are gone,
will I ever see you again?


All those words we've said,
can't be taken back.
Hurt us like fists,
bruising our souls,
tearing us apart.

I close my eyes,
faces come and go.
There's none I truly know. 
I try not to think of you,
when I close my eyes


Tears keep running 
down on my cheeks.
My heart feels so cold,
there's no love left.
I keep sinking down.


Emptiness ahead of me.
I choose to see
what is waiting for me. 
I close my eyes
for the final time.


Olen tässä illan kuunnellut Collegen (ft. Electric Youth) A Real Hero- biisiä. Tunnelmaltaan se on aika melankolinen ja se kuvastaa muutenkin minun illan olotilaani. Mieleeni tuli sitten kirjoittaa pitkästä aikaa "runo".  Tämä siitä sitten syntyi. Tuttuun tyyliini, ei mikään iloisin mahdollinen.
